Introduction:
We welcome all people of all ages with an interest
in sailing whether boat owner or not. Each of us started out not knowing
a fig about boats and sailing. Everyone has to start somewhere. Why
not start with us? On this site you'll find information about us, and
our activities, along with descriptions of our events.
What's
New:
--> It's coming...the August Weeklong Cruise! The dates are August 14 -21, 2010. Check out the Fleet Calendar page for details. Please send an email to our Cruise Director to let him know if you plan to attend.

--> It WAS a to be a HOT ONE, folks!! Everyone missed a fantastic time on the Moonlight Cruise. Terri Musto celebrated her birthday a day early (we won't say how many). We had four boats participate and had great winds both ways. Check out the photos. |
-->Burgees are available. Fleet 8's supply of burgess has been replenished. The cost is $20.
--> The
JULY edition of the Fleet Log is out - with new stories and other stuff. If you missed your copy, be
sure to contact the Fleet Secretary for a copy. If you haven't yet renewed
your membership, you weren't sent the Fleet Log.
--> Why join Fleet-8?

why Fleet-8 is a great club regardless of what boat you have.
Be sure to
let the Cruise Director know your intention to participate in Fleet events. (mailto:
Joe) Please let him know your boat's name, tot

| We weren't going to have a "links"
section as there are so many other places to find useful links online.
However, these are particularly useful and important as items of
safety and education that we think it worthwhile having them here. |
